Ysgol Gynradd Gymraeg Calon Y Cymoedd is a Primary school situated in Betws, Bridgend South Wales. We provide bilingual education for Cwm Garw and Cwm Ogwr and the surrounding area.
Our school moto at Ysgol Gynradd Gymraeg Calon Y Cymoedd is that everyone matters and everyone achieves. We offer a happy and caring environment where your child can feel safe and secure. The education we provide is carefully matched to the learning needs of individual children, pupil voice is of great importance to us. Our aim is to provide a warm, welcoming and happy environment where pupils are encouraged to achieve their full potential and develop into responsible citizens and life long learners.

Dosbarth Pabi have had a great afternoon in the community. We had some very tasty food in Bettws Cafe and then enjoyed a lovely Christmas service with Rev Geraint at St Davidβs Church. π πΌπ 4 Likes

Full-time admissions to the nursery class β September 2025
Part-time admissions to the nursery class β January 2026 and April 2026
From 6 January 2025, parents/carers will be able to apply for a full-time place in a nursery class in September 2025 or a part-time place in January and April 2026.
You can apply online. If you have already joined My Account on the Council website Bridgend County Borough (CBSP), you will need to log in and then you can complete an application for a Nursery school place online.
