Ysgol Gynradd Gymraeg Calon Y Cymoedd is a Primary school situated in Betws, Bridgend South Wales. We provide bilingual education for Cwm Garw and Cwm Ogwr and the surrounding area.
Our school moto at Ysgol Gynradd Gymraeg Calon Y Cymoedd is that everyone matters and everyone achieves. We offer a happy and caring environment where your child can feel safe and secure. The education we provide is carefully matched to the learning needs of individual children, pupil voice is of great importance to us. Our aim is to provide a warm, welcoming and happy environment where pupils are encouraged to achieve their full potential and develop into responsible citizens and life long learners.

Digwyddiad Taleb Aur CRhA Diwrnod Llyfr y Byd/PTA Golden Ticket World Book Day Event
Os hoffech brynu bar siocled anfonwch arian gyda'ch plentyn/plant ddydd Iau, Mawrth 5ed mewn amlen wedi'i marcio'n glir gydag enw eich plentyn a faint o arian sydd yn yr amlen.
Ychwanegwch hefyd os yw eich plentyn yn rhydd o gynnyrch llaeth. Mae pob bar siocled yn rhydd o glwten ac yn rhydd o gnau.
Os yw eich plentyn/plant yn ennill tocyn, anfonwch nhw yn ôl ddydd Gwener Mawrth 6ed i allu derbyn eu gwobr.
Mae'r gwobrau yn cynnwys:
Gwobrau tocyn aur - bag o nwyddau sy'n gysylltiedig â darllen
Gwobrau tocyn arian - bag lwcus o eitemau sy'n gysylltiedig â darllen
Tocynnau efydd - cymysgedd o wobrau ysgol gan gynnwys amser chwarae ychwanegol.
If you would like to purchase a chocolate bar. Please send money in with your child/children on Thursday March 5th in an envelope clearly marked with your child's name and how much money is in the envelope. Please also add if your child is dairy free so they can receive a dairy free bar. All chocolate bars are gluten free and nut free.
If your child/children win a ticket please send them back in on Friday March 6th so that your child can receive their prize.
Prizes are:
Golden ticket prizes - a hamper of reading related goodies
Silver ticket prizes - lucky dip bag of reading related items
Bronze tickets - a mixture of school rewards including extra play time.
Yesterday, dosbarth Dant y Llew went around the school and the forest to collect rubbish. This is all part of our new theme, ‘Clean world, happy world’ 🌳🌍🌸😁 2 Likes
